Palestinian Journalist to Speak at UT

Khaled Abu Toameh is an independent Arab journalist working with the foreign media in the West Bank and Gaza Strip and also writing for The Jerusalem Post on Palestinian Affairs.

As a journalist who began his career at a PLO paper before moving on to work for the international media and Israeli press, Khaled Abu Toameh's reporting offers a rare combination of intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the Palestinian Authority, and unfiltered access to Palestinian sources inside and outside the PA.

Over the last twenty years, he has developed a reputation as an unwaveringly honest and accurate journalist who can be counted on to protect his sources and faithfully report their revelations without agenda or filter.

Khaled will be speaking at the Texas Union on Sunday, February 25, at 6:00 p.m in the Santa Rita Suite, 3.502
